The reasons behind Gold Coast's last-quarter fadeouts are being examined as part of an ongoing strategic review of the Suns' football program that began 12 months ago. On Saturday against St Kilda the Suns' failure to score in the last quarter caused them to lose the game by two points after they held a 31-point lead at three-quarter-time. The Suns made significant changes to the football department at the end of last season with Dew replacing Rodney Eade as coach, Craig Cameron replacing Scott Clayton as list manager and Jon Haines taking over from Marcus Ashcroft as football manager as part of a suite of changes made under CEO Mark Evans.
